Advanced body structure of the V8 Vantage is the key to his superior manageability and efficiency. A unique Aston Martin all alloy VH (vertical, horizontal) architecture provides excellent spine and the use of modern materials such as light alloys of magnesium and advanced composites for the body further contributes to the low weight of the car and class-leading rigidity.
Enormous strength and rigidity of the structure has a number of advantages: it provides a stable platform from which the suspension can control the car, the driver provides enhanced control and feel it effectively increases the strength and safety of cells and enhances build quality. For competitors who use conventional materials increased durability means adding weight that dulls the capacity and flexibility. Aston Martin is no compromise approach ensures that the driver receives not only safer, sounder, but performance and clearer answers, too.
At the roundabout with Aston
Fortunately in the beginning a little stiff fleet of luxury sports car quickly pulls apart, so that we can begin to try that nifty gran turismo can do on a wet course. ring is very technical and climbing from the curves of the prevalence of high power clear as you can get from zero to one hundred in 4.9 seconds. We have a small foot Cayman S gamely, but his edge off at the end of the ride is not and after a few quick turns, that it ends in a cowlick in the following rounds of the one who gives up Lancer, whose worn tires do not handle the wet course anymore, and its owner gives us his sad goodbye. as for me my trip is coming back and straight into the next round of Martin from the team of Allivictus transmits the driver'sseat for me his colleague RadimWe must now leave in the rain in the aisle between the boxes (sorry, Radim, but you of course hardened in Allivictus, so a few drops of rain you can not dislocate) and we beat the course.
Aston Martin wheels in new technology
Existing user, competitor product brief was a similar product the same form factor, although more modern technologies, which will be integrated with wireless LAN installations at Gaydon and the Aston Martin site at the Newport facility, where another car model.Datalogic Mobile Viper-NET ™ Terminal has been proposed as the most suitable solution for this application-integrated end-to-end production. This mobile computer is extremely rugged with IP65 rating, it has a large display size of any similar device and with Cisco wireless card, the client was able to easily Aston Martin's specifications for compatibility and security.

Revised V8 Vantage key facts
To turn on the V8 engine to cope with the additional power and torque, chain drive, which takes power sprocket timing variable width was increased from 9 plate design 11 plates. (This refers to the number of plates, or links that go across the width of the chain – the higher the number, the greater the chain).Cylinder block
The cylinder block (cylinder diameter) holes, moving from 4.3 V8 89 mm up to 91 mm, which in combination with increased stroke volume engine provides 4.7 liters. Quite simply an extension of the capabilities of each cylinder allows the motor to draw more air, so that more fuel can be burned and more power can be produced.
Immersion cylinder liner
The key change is the inclusion of cases that fall into the cylinder but are not included in the block casting process. The advantage here is that the holes in the cylinder can be manufactured with more precision and holes themselves can be exported to their maximum capacity.
Pistons
As well as increasing the size of the bores from 89 mm to 91 mm for the 4.7 V8, cast Pistons also increase in diameter.
The History Of Aston Martin
Martin turned his passion into a business in 1913, when he joined forces with Robert Bamford selling singer automobiles – their adaptation to the challenges up hill, which is an important part of early motorsport. Partners would produce its own cars – and the name was needed. Martin regularly competed in ascends the Hill and Aston-with a simple combination of the Hill and the driver, legend of Aston Martin .In 1914, Bamford & Martin Limited bought the premises in Chelsea, London – and the following March, was the first car Aston Martin. Equipped with Coventry Simplex side valve engine, it became known as the "coal Scuttle".
Further growth was of course, stop the war. But once peace was restored Bamford and Martin returned to make cars to new premises in London's Kensington. And once again, the competition was a success: the product in May 1922, Aston Martin, nicknamed "Rabbit" broke the top ten records of speed in Brooklands, averaging more than 76 miles/16 and a half hours of non-stop work. In the same year, Aston Martin has entered international races. With support from the former Brooklands legend count Zborowski, Aston Martin has built two cars for the French Grand Prix.
Composites application for Aston Martin DB9
Unlike the scale using the SMC in North America, several applications of composites in the Aston Martin show that technology is used in a wide range of volumes. Design problems and limits on investment in the Aston Martin V12 vanquish, brand new car from scratch with no carry-over body parts, were those that were identified, all 24 components is the RTM process. In addition to the remarkable and Novel Triaxial perform security critical, structural carbon fiber reinforcements-pillar and structural carbon fibre strut brace to beat was used to pioneer Ford programmable briquetting process (F3P). Application of F3P-RTM in production of Vanquish process showed the Bodysides for manufacturing panels class a. this success has recently been expanded with the introduction of 8 further after the class RTM-F3P panels on the DB9.
F3P is the progression of fiber glass chopped roving P4 deposited together with the binder component using robotic systems. The fibers are held in place on the screen to the stage of compaction airflow where hot air is used to melt in the binder. Cold air then freezes binder that keeps the fibres and sets up to de-moulded.
