Looking to the future with Aston Martin GT2 debut Silverstone JWA

"To say I'm glad that we finally in possession of the vehicle and intended to go racing," declared the basic commands, JWA James Watt. "However, we are under no illusion that we are opposed to the headline to an event of international sports car with almost no track time under their belt. We will be doing most of the adaptability of tomorrow at Pembrey before continuing our education with the car at Silverstone. We are very much looking at the long term plan with the Aston Martin Vantage GT2 but in the short term, we see in this weekend's race as competitive test outing, which will give us a platform on which to build ahead of a permanent campaign in 2009. "

He continued, "Silverstone marks the beginning of an exciting time for JWA and we are extremely proud of both companies is progressing ambassadors for Aston Martin. We are certainly very keen to maximise the commercial potential that comes from associated with such a powerful and iconic brand while showcasing the talents of our championship-winning and delivering results for Aston Martin GT2 class in the Le Mans Series is probably the most competitive class in the competition of sports cars. We have a talented trio of drivers for our debut at Silverstone, and I look forward to working with Tim, Alan and Michael for our only ' home ' race 2008 ".
